The 2022 school year has started...and what a start it's been!
Back when we hosted Part 1 of our School Starters night in November 2021, no one could have imagined the challenges that lay ahead for the start of the 2022 school year! We are sure that there have been many lessons learnt and improvisations made, and we can't wait to get together again to share our experiences of the first couple of months of the school year.
Part 2 of our School Starters night will be for parents to catch up and discuss all things relating to those initial few weeks and months. It's a massive transition, and one that CAMBA families can support each other through. All members are welcome as it's never too early or too late to connect with other parents and learn from each other.
Our 'parent panel', made up of CAMBA members Patricia Plumb, Liz Greaves, Connie Sankey, Genevieve Hemsley and Nicole Geddes, will be returning. All these members have a range of school years and experiences under their belt, and are excited to share their learnings! We are also thrilled to announce that former CAMBA member Sarah Ziedel will be joining our parent panel. Sarah is paediatric Occupational Therapist with expertise in educational settings, and is happy to answer any questions you may have.
