Special Contacts

We’re all multiples’ mums and dads at CAMBA.  Our aim is to provide invaluable support and resources for families of twins and triplets, especially in the early years. We are a community group run by volunteers, so while we can’t provide medical advice or professional help, our club is about giving and receiving support from those who have been there before. There is always someone ready to listen, share their knowledge and help to point you in the right direction to find the help that you need.

Every pregnancy, birth, family situation and child is different, but between our members, we’ve experienced a lot.

If you need help in a particular area or just want to talk to someone who can relate, the best place to start is with one of our CAMBA contacts. You will find their contact details near the start of Duplication, our monthly newsletter.

If your experience isn’t covered below we can help you find the support that you need.  If we don’t have someone within CAMBA, we can use our connection with other clubs in the area and around the country to find you the support you’re looking for.

Breastfeeding

Perhaps you’d like to tandem feed and need some tips, maybe you experience frequent mastitis, or after advice about expressing.

Extra support

Maybe you or your health provider have noticed a developmental delay, or your child has a physical condition, perhaps you are trying to navigate the NDIS for your child, or maybe you have a physical, sensory or mental health issue which impacts your parenting.

Premature Babies

Life with premature babies can be stressful and difficult to navigate but with many multiples born early, there are plenty of people to talk to.

Higher order multiples

Triples, quads or even more? Get in touch with our HOM contact to find out about extra support you might be entitled to and connect with other HOM families.

Partners/Dads

Being the partner of someone with multiples is different and you might find you can’t relate to your other friends who only have one baby at a time.

Solo Parents

If you’re parenting multiples on your own, our other solo parents are full of tips and advice specific to your family situation.

Bereavement

AMBA can help put you in touch with people who understand the grief of losing a baby at any stage.

Contact details can be found at the front of Duplication, our newsletter. Alternatively, please send an email to enquiries@camba.amba.org.au.
