This Wednesday 18 May we have our Annual General Meeting - kicking off at 7:45PM with the meeting itself due to start by 8.00pm. It will be held in person at Bowen St Community Centre (102 Bowen St, Camberwell) and also online via GoToMeeting (login details below). Please click on the "Events Details" link below to get you (free) ticket for either in-person or virtual attendance.  We also would love to celebrate our achievements in the last year a bit, so if you have  plates or biscuits to share (or a bottle of some kind), just bring them along!    You can review the associated documents for our meeting - the Agenda, our Annual Report, along with our financial report.  I have also included minutes from last year's AGM. You can access these here.   Please note that members are required to be current to attend and vote at the AGM. If you received a renewal email, please ensure you complete the form and payment prior to the meeting.   If you're interested in joining the Committee, please do get in touch. There are so many ways to be involved - with our General committee members able to help on tasks that suit your skills and time. There are also numerous 'coordinator' positions. Some of these roles are about sharing your experience with others. Some involve taking the lead on organising a catch-up. They can all be adapted to suit your available time and ideas.   CAMBA wouldn't continue to operate as successfully without the amazing volunteers we have - and we are so grateful for all the time and effort that is put in. By being involved you get to help shape our club and continue the support that we provide to so many multiple birth families in our area.   We look forward to seeing you all on Wednesday. Mini Maestros are coming to Playgroup!  This is for EVERYONE who can come along, including mums, dads, siblings, grandparents, nannies etc... the session will have a mixture of songs, dances and play activities to help language and physical development, social skills, focusing and having fun together. There will be lap plays, action songs, puppet activities and parachute activities!  We won’t be able to provide instruments however if you could bring something to shake (a rattle toy you have at home or pop some rice or pasta in a well sealed plastic bottle) something to tap on (an empty upside down icecream tub or tupperware container) and a peekaboo scarf (small piece of floaty material or fashion scarf), that would be great! :-) Date: Tuesday, 3rd May  Time: 9:30am - 11:30am with Music starting at 10am Where: Bowen Street Community Centre, 102 Bowen Street, Camberwell.  03 9889 0791 Registration: Scroll down to the bottom of this email and click 'Event Details'. It's that time of the year that ALL "Supermums" can come together to celebrate our highs, lows and just being here for the love of it!  Come for dinner and drinks, come for an early drink or for a late drink or just pop by to say hello.  Everyone is welcome and we would love to see as many amazing multi mummas out enjoying themselves.  RSVP HERE by the 21st April so we can make sure we have enough tables and a drink (complimentary) on arrival for you!

We appreciate that not all families can make our fantastic Tuesday morning playgroups, so we're launching a series of three weekend playgroups in 2022.  The first weekend playgroup is Sunday 10 April 2022 from 10am to 12.30pm. You don't need to stay for the whole session - you're welcome to pop in around nap times and other commitments. All multiples, siblings and families are welcome - even if your twins haven't been born yet! To add to the fun JoJo's Music will be joining us at 11am for a music class.  Weekend playgroup will be FREE of charge, including a light lunch provided for parents and a coffee run (thanks to a generous grant from the City of Boroondara and Rotary Club of Balwyn). Please bring along some morning tea/lunch for your children (no nuts or popcorn please). The Easter Bunny will be dropping off eggs at Riversdale Park, Spencer Street in Camberwell. There are lots of great hiding spots so I’m sure it will be a fun morning! $10 per family with multiples over the age of 1 year, FREE for families with multiples under 1 year! CAMBA is welcoming everyone to a HUGE party. It's been a long time since we have been able to do something like this, so we have decided to book a DOUBLE session for us to enjoy the whole afternoon. We're going to organize dinner for you too!  Kew Traffic School is full of roads, roundabouts, intersections, traffic lights, street signs, railway crossings and mini trams. It is a great place for children aged between 2 and 10 years to gain confidence and develop road safety skills, away from the dangers of real traffic, BUT we also want to see those with multiples under 2 come along as well. There is plenty of grassy undercover areas to put a picnic rug out, even if it's only for one hour. We have the double session to fir around nap times for you :) Bring along grandparents to help as well. The more the merrier! The track is suitable for bikes, scooters and ride-on pedal cars. It’s important to note:- children need to bring their own bicycle or scooter and helmet. Carers or parents must stay and supervise their children.
